Hi guys, new to the forum. In the process of buying a 2001 LX470 with about 124k on it. I checked the dealer service records and found this entry. What does it mean?

CYL BLOCK (W/O CRANKSHAFT) PLEASE REPLACE FUEL FILTER - REPLACE FUEL FILTER,DONE.

Was done at about 88,000 miles and car has about 124k on it now.

Thanks!

Perhaps that part about the block is a typo? I dont get that, unless they were specifying the location?

I would assume the fuel filter was changed. nothing more or less.

I've found service worker entries to oft be incorrect and rife with grammatical error as they key in haste and laze. I'd think if cylinder block work was done, you'd see much more to the entry.

Sounds like a filter change. I'd just call a few different dealers and ask to see what they'd have to say. GL

Thanks guys... I agree, if it was a cylinder block I would expect to see more detail.
