lx 450 alarm ?

I am on my cell phone so I can not search..sorry. I just got a spare key for my lx from lexus. we only have one remote. is there any way to use the key without the remote and not set off the alarm? it is a pain to have to switch keys with my wife to drive my dream car. any help is appreciated.smit

yes, do not set the alarm and it will not go off when you use a key,

better alternative would be to get another fob,

from Lexus they are expensive, I dont remember how much but a search will bring it up,

you can find them on ebay ushually a lot cheaper

The Toyota fob works fine too. CDan has posted the different variants. I programmed the fob from my Supra to also unlock the LX450.
