Recently purchased 03 100. Rotated tired today and one of the driver side rear bolts broke off. One of the lug bolts must have been over tightened or cross threaded at some point.

I have not pulled the rotor yet. Can I purchase a new lug bolt and press the old out and the new in?

Yes. I had two to wring off. Bought mine at Carquest because it was late on a Saturday and the dealerships were closed.

Rear lug bolts are easy to replace. I did one recently with just a 2lb hammer and 3/8 punch to knock the stub out and then rigged up spacers out of washers and used the lug nut to pull it home. No press required. It only needed about 60ftlb to pull in and seat it so I wasn't worried about stripping the nut.

Same here on the left rear. Wonder why that one is a common occurrence?

Two times is a coincidence but three times is a pattern.:D
