Im going to go to this its an annual event for me and a chance to wheel with guys i seldom see

I go down sat morning wheel all day camp sat night wheel sunday then break camp and head for home sunday evening

Its a $50 donation per truck but you get camping,port a johns,and a t-shirt.....they usually have some sort of donation dinner and breakfast too

Still not sure whether its gonna be the 4runner or the FJ40?!?

US Forest Service Checkpoint

Well I ended up towing down the 4runner since the FJ is not quite ready,It was a good ride then right as we were leaving one of the trails down there the trailhead was blocked by the US Forest Service and Rangers they were doing a check to make sure all the trucks were legally registered and insured and no one was drinking........

We all got away scott free but couldnt help but notice the collection of rigs and tow trucks to tow them the Feds had accumulated and some guys who werent with our group got $400 fines for open containers.....

Needless to say it was a good time but it seems the local club down there is battling it out over "public roads" that are actually hardcore trails and had recently won a battle to keep "roads" open and the Forest Service decided to fight back however they could........which meant since we are on these "roads" we are subject to the same rules as any road.......
