Who has used the treatment in their auto? You like? Seems really darn thick to me.

Snake oil........
ive used everything BUT the auto trans treatment but ive heard from some people it helps with leaks and didnt make it any worse
my fj has 215k and i just used it in my 4speed. had a small effect, i can really notice it when its cold. shifts alot easier

Well I went out and dumped in a half of a bottle with a fresh fluid change, it seems to shift much smoother. 
But I think the 343,000 miles on the rig anything would make it shift smoother.
I know I put some in the rear third a few months ago it really helped.

Update..... I put 1,000 miles on the cruiser and my feedback is still positive. At first I was worried about the thickness of this additive and now I am not.
I dumped just a little out of the pan and the thickness is no where as thick as it was when dumped in. Just
right
I did have a little leak from the tranny to the transfer(just a dab), not anymore.(4 speed is still going in when i get the chance)
The smooth shift is still there after this as added.
I also had a very small leak at the steering box seal,furthermore just for s***s and giggles I added a squirt in the power steering res. and yes the leak went away.

Until someone proves me wrong, i will continue to use this or causes failure.
So far no one has chimed in this has caused my tranny to fail or whatever.
Nothing but positive at this point. I surly hope millions are not wrong.
their power steering stop leak works wonders and i am usually of the opinion that most "additives" are snake oil. i used it as a last ditch effort to slow down my leaking steering gear; worked so well i have yet to have to pull my steering box.

Yea I feel the same way, I drag my feet on must hipe
but this stuff has made a lifetime customer
I had bad luck with the power steering additive. held for about a week, then leaked again. even adding more wouldnt' seal the leak, plus it was thick enough to kill my pump.

I've seen numerous studies done by university engineering professors that demonstrate how several of the Lucas brand additives (engine oil additive, and differential) both make the oils "foam" up. The foaming action actually reduces the coverage and the lubrocity.
Use good oil, use good gaskets, use good parts, use good sense.
I forget the manufacturer (but it was in a white bottle that might have been Lucas), but my little brother saved his leaky PS system for two years now with it...was one of those spend $$$ to rebuild or toss in a few bucks for the hell of it to try it out and see...havent touched it since.

Like the stuff, very pleased with how it worked.

I use it in the winter. Really lets the oil spread out quicker on cold mornings
I warmed mine up before i added it.

But that is simply not true. Why i do not know.
See my earler post that i was indeed worried about the thickness of the addititive.
Today when I checked the tranny by pulling the plug to see just how thick it was (this morning cold with frost on the ground) anyway was no where as thick as it was when it was first added . I cannot answer why but only but what is.

it is somewhat diluted with the trans fluid. maybe less noticeable in larger quantities than a ps reservoir, but the fluid becomes thicker when you add lucas.
