I was just thinking about this and you guys are very fortunate. Everything is new and exciting for the FJ Cruiser. Nobody has been there and done that. You are all sort of like the pioneers for this new model. It is an exciting time to own an FJ. Anyway, I just thought about that as I read your posts and see all the excitement about all the new stuff and all the firsts.

You're right, we really are lucky. It's fun to be the first to push the limits (like pushing the A-TRAC). We'll see what she can do and if she can hold her own off the road!

It is a pretty nice feeling to own one right now because they are still very fresh. I am just barely starting to see one or two sightings a day. When you roll by someone else that has one, you either get a knowing type of grin or a cool nod in your direction. Toyota did something right with the FJ - it makes people happy.

Today was the first time I've seen one on the road in Idaho. I've only seen 4 on the road total. Still all of them Silver. I find that quite odd.

Well, that is the best color!

When I first purchased my FJ, I had several choices in colors, My dealer ship here in California (San Jose) had ordered 17 FJ and I came in the next day and looked at the colors. The Metallic color I liked alot and was thinking of getting it, but the Blue Voodoo I thought stood out the most and I thought went great with the white top. ( I took the Blue)..anyway the black remind me too much of a police mobile, had the look to it...

That's right, and I'll be looking out for you offroad speeders!!! ;) Ask anybody with a black diamond FJC (like mine) and they'll tell you why the roof is white.

I like the blue. It's a nice throwback to the older FJs.

Somebody with a black one should put a reflective logo on the side. Obviously don't get as crazy as a star or a badge, but something that would make people think at night. Then maybe one of those remote control magnetic spot lights for the roof?
