LSLC Meeting May 14 at Pappa's BBQ

Two weeks from today. Posting it early so people can put it on their calendars. It has a tendancy to sneak up on folks since we moved it to the 2nd Thursday.

Pappa's BBQ in west Dallas off of NW Hwy near Loop 12 and IH35. Meeting kicks off at 7pm. Hope to see you all there.

There should be at least a couple of new trucks at the meeting. Chris Smith's new 40 and hopefully the new guy Jeff (not me) with the restored yellow 40 comes out. His first meeting was last month. My new junk doesn't run yet or I'd bring it too, however it ain't much to look at.

Anybody else bringing out new trucks? Should be good times.

small chance the 60 will be ready, and if so, i'll bring it. however, it's not really that new to anybody, since it use to be owned by john winstead. but if it's ready, i'll bring it.

I just realized I'm not going to make it to the meeting. Both of Margaret's parent's aren't doing well and she's going to see them tomorrow - and the kids have a program at school on Thursday. :whoops:

Chris and Nick can handle any business. Let's do try and get ICBM set. The Southern Cruiser Crawl is the weekend of Oct 10, so my preference is to keep it at least two weeks either side of it if possible.

Maybe we can get some of the "lurkers" out there to come join us. Come on, you know who you are! You have a landcruiser, run the web, talk shop....step up and join the fun as well as the chapter, Chris will be happy to expedite your membership, with paid dues of course.

Come on out and show off your Landcruiser, after all, you don't own it for the gas mileage!

no go on the 60 coming out. looks like the steering box is still not functional. any body here got any ideas on hat else to look at if the pump has been rebuilt, and this is a different box but with the same power steering issues, as in not having any?

high pressure line was already good, we checked the return line, and no clog. looks like the box i got is no good, after having a bad box in the first place.

I have been lurking for a while and may come out for the meeting tonight. Do I just show up at 7 tonight and look for a group of cruisers?
