Has anyone out there adjusted their LSPV when they lifted their vehicles? I was just curious. Or do most folks remove it?

With my "mushy" pedal problems (TSM rear disc conversion), I was hoping to re-adjust the calipers/parking brake per the instructions on the TSM site, and see a difference. I simply re-adjusted the calipers, and did notice a difference in e-brake performance. The test drive, was a bit scary in that post-adjustment I have significantly reduced the braking power. (think - OMG am I going to stop, pedal to the floor) Note - I didn't re-blead the brakes, so hopefull that is the problem.

Post test drive, I decided to finish the rest of the modifications I was going to make and see if I still have the stopping problems once it is all done.

I installed the 4runner calipers, and my grinding job matches almost exactly per the previous post.

I am going get one of the Marlin MCs hopefully this week to complete the project on friday.

I replaced the frame to axle flexible lines with longer T100 lines. I did the front first, without issue, then attempted the rear. When I disconnected the hard line - NO brake fluid came out...which could be a red herring, but something to take not of for future trouble shooting.

I sure do hope that all this mess will increase my stopping performance. I am regretting that the PO didn't stick with the stock drum rears, at this point, I am not really happy with the rear discs...

And another note - YOU MUST set your parking brake with the El Dorado calipers, it is how they "adjust" themselves.

Thanks all for the help and advice

Sorry stupid question but.....................

You did make sure the rear caliper bleeders are on top?

I ran into this once before on a BMW, guy installed the calipers on the wrong side(bleeders on the bottom) and it had a mushy pedal they couldn't get rid of.....

You can always HAVE my OEM rear drum setup...........just an option.
