You ought to talk with Redfish https://forum.ih8mud.com/members/redfishbluegrass.html I willing to be he might bring a boat and do some fishing for free. Since that is what he does for a living. Really cool guy and local to LC.

Hey guys sorry for the lack of posts this summer! It is our busy season and I don't have a whole lot of free time. I wish I could join you guys but wont be free until Nov! I will tell you that if you want to fish on the beach that will be a great time of year to do it, and if anyone needs any tips, advice on rigs or techniques then please let me know. The big Reds will start showing up in the surf here soon! Catch on for me:cheers:

I am going to try to get down there and meet some of you guys. Should not be to hard to make it since I live in Wilmington. If you need to store a boat trailer I live just outside of town so you are more than welcome to drop it in the yard for the weekend. I also have a boat that I can drive down there and take some people fishing.

Tim,

Thanks, hope you can make it. I would like to bring a boat and thought of beaching it at the end of the beach just inside the inlet. I can't remember how much of tide dropped there and if it was feasible. What do you think? How many miles are you from the beach?
