260,600 miles (and climbing)

Long time member here, but have not been active for a while. I feel like it’s time to pass on my 2011 200 to another member who can ride it into the sunset. Unfortunately my off-roading days look to be behind me, and she’s not getting used properly just commuting back and forth to work and kid activities. She’s been all over SW CO, south Texas, New Mexico, the Ozarks, and quite a bit more. Been a great truck, very capable, but I have not pushed things or treated her bad. Slow, steady and careful offroad, always.

I am the second owner, and the first owner was known to me. I bought it from him in 2014 with 49k miles on it, completely stock. The very long build thread is here:

Andy's SLOOOOW 2011 200 Series Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/andys-sloooow-2011-200-series-build.906844/

Current pics can be found here:

The list:

Ironman foam cell pro lift, comfort/medium height. Zero issues, ever. Did not do UCAs, it got back in line close enough and drives straight as an arrow. I do have, and will include, the heavy load springs for the rear.

Metaltech rock sliders.

I have another set of LC200 wheels, off a 2014, powder coated in satin black. Those will be included, Pics with those wheels are in build thread.

Smittybilt X20 12k winch, hidden beneath front bumper skin. Remote controlled. Factor55 fairlead and hard shackle. Install pics in build thread.

Dissent Offroad rear swingout bumper, with tire carrier on passenger side. Install pics in build thread.

ARB drawer system, dual drawer, dual roller top, with trim pieces on sides. ARB fridge WILL be sold with truck. Install pics (you get it).

KAON attic rack and rear window molle panels.

Circuit breaker protected rear fuse panel, with direct wire connection for fridge.

Oversized battery.

Wired for ICom HAM radio, with remote control panel. I’ll include the radio. I keep the detachable faceplate in the console. There is an external speaker, forward facing, mounted on the Kaon attic rack.

Tim at Gamiviti sold me the custom risers and 3 load bars on top. Mounted in factory holes. Sturdy as can be, ran a RTT on it with zero issues.

The good:

This truck is mechanically great, especially for the years and the miles. I would jump in it and drive across country in back without hesitation. I’ve maintained it per all recommendations, and she’s never put me on the side of the road. The only thing I can think of that might be upcoming would be changing diff fluids at 300k miles (previously done at 100k and 200k).

I replaced the alternator and radiator, along with heater Ts, proactively a few years ago, as those are known failure items.

I’d say the interior is as clean as you’ll find in a 10 year old truck. There are some stains on the carpet, but most are under the 2nd row seats (kids).

There isn’t a squeak or rattle in the truck. Pretty amazing actually.

I still have the remote control and headphones for the DVD player (if you are into that kind of thing).

I didn’t clean the truck up for these pics. I take care of it and keep it clean.

Cooled console still works, blows cold.

Sunroof works great, no leaks ever.

I have both key fobs.

The not so good (there is no bad), I’ll include pics of all:

There is a tear on the back of the passenger front seat (kid did it). I can try and get this fixed if needed.

The windshield trim piece on the passenger side sticks up slightly where it hits the roof. Has never been an issue so I haven’t changed. On that note, there are half a dozen rock pecks on the windshield, all repaired, all 1/8” or smaller. If an issue I can look into having the windshield replaced, but I've always tried to avoid that.

The knob for the front passenger seat heater has been repaired and doesn’t press all the way down. Works fine but I will try and get this replaced.

The knob for the rear audio controls is missing (I will try and get this replaced).

Toyota service techs broke the recirc flap on the AC blower (behind glove box) about 8 years ago while changing the air filter. As a result, its permanently stuck in recirc mode. I opted not to have them tear out my dash and just lived with it. It's caused me no issues.

The paint is not new, obviously, and there are limb scratches galore. I’ll get it waxed and buffed before sale. It looks great from 10’, but up close, it’s a 10 year old offroad truck. Not trying to hide anything here. Zoom in and see for yourself.

In order to make room for the hidden winch, had to replace the front bumper skin with the skin from a 2014. Fit is good, but over the years it’s splitting some where it hits the front quarter panel on passenger side. There’s also a zip tie or two in misc places holding things snug.

Because of the bumper changeout, the factory fog lights and radar/proximity sensors do not work. Lights are unhooked and radar is disabled via dash button.

When it’s cold sometimes the steering wheel squeaks when you turn it (until it warms up, then it’s fine).

Documented issue, in wet/cold weather on first crank sometimes you’ll get the differential lock flashing dash light. Mud says it’s the switch in the diff sending wrong reading. Once the truck runs 5 mins it goes off. Happens a couple times a year.

The tires might have 10-12k left on them. Tires are personal so figured I’d let new owner decide on that.

The fuse panel and radio won’t stay ‘stuck’ to the back of the drawer box, no matter what I try. It’s not an issue, they ride on the floor fine. Good luck finding an adhesive that will hold (I‘ve tried them all).

There is normal wear on the side edge of the driver seat. Honestly it’s not bad for the age of the truck.

I do NOT have the 3rd row seats.

I had a hard time pricing this truck. Comps are all over the place, so who knows.

I’m gonna go with $18k, pretty dang firm.
