Go here USAJOBS - The Federal Government's Official Jobs Site for jobs with the Federal Gov... it has search tools for the job and location. I suspect a mjority of the jobs in Hville would be contractors and many of them have web based contacts and listings. Compaines like Boeing, Raytheon, and others. I'll ask around to see if there is some typle of online list good sources in the area. Personally I would avoid jobs tied to contracts but a job is a job in this market and so that's how many of the DOD contractors have their jobs setup. Huntsville is a growing location for technology based jobs as many relate to DOD requirements.

Right now, I'm focusing on the Montgomery area and south since that's where my fam is. Unless a job in Huntsville could pay alot, but right now, most hiring companies are aware that they can offer any amount so they're lowballin'...

I was outsourced to Amdocs (amdocs.com) from AT&T.
I know that TK is still hiring, and looking hard... and have not hired everyone yet... they are stretching everything out.

I just heard that i might have to move to Atlanta or Nashville due to business consolidations... no clue yet...

UGH! The great state has decided that they won't pay me the last couple of weeks, I don't know why and can't get in touch with anyone in Montgomery at the Unemployment office and the Opelika office claims they can't help me, can't even help me with getting a human on the phone in Montgomery...

haha! I have 'hopefully" got it worked out. I was able to speak with someone this morning, and my HUGE unemployment checks should hopefully start rolling in once again. I seriously can tell you that being on unemployment does not pay!
