Thanks for taking a look. I purchased this 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser from the original owner in October of 2019. He told me the story of how he carried two plastic bags of cash into the dealership and three guys counted out over $60k. It spent it’s entire life in inland California as a family car prior to my purchase. Everything stock and never saw dirt or snow. I went through the car top to bottom to make it bulletproof.
The suspension was original, which I replaced with King 2.5 remote reservoir shocks with compression adjusters. Each corner can be made softer or firmer with the turn of a knob. The new shocks lifted the ride height a bit so the CV axles, also original, were replaced with OEM Toyota. K&H Imports in Canoga Park did the CV install along with all other baselining at purchase. Stock wheels were replaced by 16” SCS F5’s. The tires are BFGoodrich AT KO2’s size 285 75 16 and 10 ply thickness. Tires are insured by 4WP. Will need to see if it’s transferable. The spare is a matching KO2 and SCS wheel. I removed the factory stereo and installed an Alpine INE-W927HD. It’s a 7” touchscreen multimedia unit with Bluetooth/navigation/hands free calling/DVD player, etc. Included but not hooked up to the unit are a Sirius XM tuner and Alpine backup camera.
Brake master cylinder replaced with new OEM Toyota in February 2020. This is probably the single most expensive repair that 100 series owners dread doing at some point (over $3k). Installation as well as entire brake flush and fill performed by K&H.
Weather tech floor mats throughout. No third row seats. Homemade storage platform that fits a full sized spare underneath took it’s place. New OEM headlights, turn signals, grille, and hood.
Factory center and rear locking differential both fully functional. Full time 4x4 with hi and lo.
Timing belt replaced by the prior owner at 90k.
$22000 OBO
