Or maybe it's NOT draining my battery? But I'm hoping that someone could tell me where the most common ground points are, I know there are 1 or 2 in the engine bay, and then there's one in the radio area... I have the following symptoms: 1) it sounds like a rocket ship is taking off on acceleration (sometimes) 2) this battery issue 3) lately I have had static come through the speakers when car is off.

Maybe you could point me to the FSM?

My baby is a 2000 LC, stock. Thanks in advance, I did a quick search but nothing came up.

I appreciate you guys. Always helpful.

Download the Electrical Wiring Diagram from the Resources section. It will show all the ground points.

Maybe start with a cheap volt meter and verify battery voltage and confirm if it is indeed draining the battery or if you are just getting feedback through your radio. You might just have a bad stereo ground and I think you can see that by removing the face plate and pulling the stereo to check..

Volt meter and checking battery would be first step. Check grounds under hood since they are easy to spot. And then dive into the dash board maybe?
