I am new to Texas and I live down in SA. I am looking to re-gear my 80 series. Its not factory locked. I would be going with 5.29's.

What shop would you recommend using to set up the thirds? I am also willing to pull the thirds and just drop them off, as this should save me some money.

On a side note, If I am purchasing my own parts, what all do I need? R/P with master install kits? Is that it? Thanks.

Welcome. This is the Austin Chapter, you may get better results in the Alamo chapter for a SA shop. Here, most folks use http://www.lcspec.com/ And some folks from SA come up here I believe.

Thanks for the welcome, I knew this was the Austin chapter, but I've asked the same of the guys down here without much luck.

A few people have recommended Edwin, but I've tried reaching out and contacting them on three separate occasions and I've been blown off each time, so I'm hoping there is someone else who wants my money.

sorry if you think i blew you off. i know the last time you called. i talked to you. i was going to call you back when i was done working on the cruiser i was working on at the time. but lost your number in caller ID because i don't know your name and did not have a chance to write it down because of what i was working on.
i am truly sorry about that.
