Looking to sell my '01 bmw m3 for a land cruiser. i don't know much about them, but would love to learn. for 35k or 36k what could i get for a used one, what year did the body style change, do they all have navi's...any links to sites or reccomendatinos would be helpful..

The new body style started for the 1998 model.
Nav wasn't always standard, don't know the exact years, but I think Slee Offroad has that info.
Read through the 100 section here, plenty of good info.

And read up on the Slee guide to see which features are offered which years. You can get a real nice Cruiser for 35K!
You can also look at the Lexus 470, which is a Landcruiser with some different options...
Searching can be very helpful but prices do change often...
I didn't price the Lexus 470 because they are more than my budget allowed. Check autotrader, yahoo autos, and ebay to see what stuff is currently going for. Make sure to have the vehicle checked out by a reputable mechanic if you don't know what you are looking for. Most of all, good luck and post a picture for us

wow. that was a quick response. man it's late and i have finals tomorrow so i should be getting to bed, but it's addictive. i think i can get 35k or 36k for my M3 and it looks like some lx470's go for around that. i'll keep u updated
