Not getting many replies hey!
Not too many of these around where i live.... I think the 95 had the options of the 2.7 or the 3.4 which I assume is what this truck has. I think a 3.4 is the smallest engine I would buy in a T100 4x4.
That is a bunch of miles... I usually see the rear fender wells rusting on the local t100's and I live in a dry area just north of Havre Montana basically.
To me mechanical things can be fixed but frames and body's rusting is when I would rather not put more money into a vehicle.
That seems like plenty but the prices on these things always seem high. Maybe ask yourself if it has the options that you want and how much money does it need for repairs right now or in the near future. I'm not sure what a replacement transmission, t-case or diff will run a guy but price out the major components & availability and then decide from there if the cost of them and the risk is worth it to you or not.
I check all fluids for condition, smell, particulates especially the coolant as well as the brake fluid and steering fluid. Levels should be good or else that is a flag of a leak or consumption somewhere..or possible damage if ran low on fluids. I would even price out a windshield, a radiator or anything else you can think that would be a low production item for repalcement as that may make these parts pricey compared to a more common model part. Less surprises the better.
that's my 4 cents worth
