I'm in Calgary Alberta, but the company I'm working for is wanting to import some trailers to sell to some telecom entity...
Apparently we have a trailer coming there soon when my US counterpart gets there head out of their butt and some paperwork resolved. I don't know to much other than its about a 1102 lb trailer with an extendable mast, its coming in freight and will need to arrive somewhere for assembly before going off to the end user. As these are newly imported we are tackling the customs, DOT papers etc. We are having a VIN plate made in the US and it will need to be installed. Also currently struggling a bit with the Title and registration paperwork, as I dont have a SIN number, etc but the US counterpart can get through that.
We're prototyping one of these, and then plan to sell a bunch more after.
If anyone can recommend a small business that could use the work and has the expertise for small mechanical and perhaps some simple wiring connections I'd appreciate a reliable business that could handle the work.
Right now they are wanting to fly me down there for two or three days to assemble, but its hardly in there budget and we will need a long term solution for assembly.
Any recommendations to a reliable source please post on the thread and I appreciate the help and hopefully an opportunity for someone there to make a few bucks.
