I decided to rebuild my 1hdt with a new head and want to do a full refresh. Looking for suggestions on a machine shop in Oregon to do the work.
I’m based in bend. But willing to go wherever in the state.

Unfortunately, he is retiring, and going with a shop that plans on closing doors VERY soon is not a good idea.

Are you needing the block rebuilt? And assembled into a long block? Or just a short block?

We're going with a new head, so we need it to be matched up and also need to replace the internals on the short block. (trying to rebuild the entire motor)

New short blocks are available from abroad. Might be easier just to get a new one and away you go.

Last one I sourced took about 10 days from order to delivery to get.
