Looking for new rims, need ideas

Looking to move to some different rims. Show me what you got from the aftermarket world.

There's only a few wheels that look good on a LandCruiser: Stock steelies (with & without hubcaps) and black rockcrushers. Sometimes white wagon wheels work.

How about Stock Steelies - Nothing better - Any other "new rim" looks completely wrong IMHO - There are some new rims made to look like the old originals and those would be a 2nd choice - Just my .02 but you asked!!!

City racer 16 inch rims . Gives you a variety of tires not available for 15-in rims

I've had both 15" and 16" and I much prefer the 16". Far better choice of tires. Like any rim, check the back spacing. I run a 1/4" spacer plate so the clip on wheel weights clear.

Since I don't do any real rock crawling I like the idea of lighter factory aluminium rims.

91/92 80 series wheels

Have pictures them on a 45 pickup which I like even more. Works with a 1/4" spacer.

Believe these are 99/2000 4Runner 16" rims.

Light the weight. But using a 1" spacer.

I’ve run stock 15” with 33x10.5s and the 16” city racers with 235/85R16’s. Here’s a comparison when I was swapping them out.

If I was to buy a new set today, I think I’d do the 16x6 Toyota FJ60 wheel.

I have broken several of the wheel cap clips on the city racer wheels. Replacement clips can be bolted on, but it’s the only negative (other than price.)

Wagon rims look close to these on an 84 HJ47RV. They came on it from Australia.

Unfortunately shortly after these pictures were taken the troopy was totaled.

Had an opportunity to buy them but passed. These were steel not sure the ones your asking about are steel or aluminium painted white.

FJ Company aluminum "Steelies." Like the 16" City Racer but a bit cheaper and lighter plus they look OEM.

I bought 5 of these for my build. They have 2 models that work on a Land Cruiser with hubs. They are mostly for Toyota LCs and trucks and have some for Jeeps.

The new OEM 15” steelies are getting pretty expensive to have limited tire options. I’ve out FJCo 16” wheels on the last few builds. Look great, great quality and opens up the tire selection.

Can paint aluminium wheels. This one of a set I picked up to put on my 99 4Runner.

Believe it was between 2018 and and 2021 I bought four sets of these. Price range between $100 and $150 for a set of four. Not a fan of dropping $1K on a set of rims. Like the look of this style. 2023-2025 changed rims on their SUVs. Besides not liking them on the 40 series I believe the offset changed to require thicker wheels spacers.
