I have Evo Corsa 16" wheels.

I like them, but I catch a lot of flak for them too. 😆

31x10½ tires. Next set will be 33

Not the best angle to see but I'm digging these. Running these on both the 40 and my camper trailer

These are old Tacoma wheels from what I was told. I like the look of them, but they're 15x7 and require back spacers (I can't recall exactly the depth). Still, I might switch to steelies after I get my lift kit on. I'm definitely going to 33s. View attachment 4156535View attachment 4156536

These are 16" on a 3rd gen 4Runner. Remember seeing an early Tacoma with same in 15". Would prefer these is something other than black. Not enough contrast, they just get lost in all the black. I do like using Toyota rims that can be had for cheap versus spending hundreds on rims I have to worry as much about damaging on the trail.

I may go with the elusive 8.25R16 Michelin XL or XZL for my next tire.... they show up every once in a while

I've had both 15" and 16" and I much prefer the 16". Far better choice of tires. Like any rim, check the back spacing. I run a 1/4" spacer plate so the clip on wheel weights clear.
I've been contemplating switching over to 16" and looking at MTs, I'm not sure I agree with the statement that there are more tire options. Are you looking at tires larger than 33? In my experience, there are more 15" tire options especially when looking tall skinnies at 33s. I know I have to use metric numbers for the 16s, so finding 33" involves the right combo of diameter/width. I guess it all depends on the different tire makers. My two leading models are General Grabbers X3 which don't have a good 16" option, and the Geolander MT03 which doesn't come in a good 15" option.
