My brother has caught the landcruiser fever BAD... he is looking for a 40 from mild to wild so if anyone has one or knows of one please let me know. he has a budget around $7,000, thanks jason

look west my friend........for 4500-6500 there are 3 fully built 40's (currently) ready for some serious action in california; just count on 9-1200 for shipping and your still in under budget WITHOUT RUST.

looking today, several have sold just this week but here is what is was talkin bout, cant give em all up, but was just saying its something to consider for that price range, or something i would consider at least.

these were all available as of last week and have been up for over a month or so.....

1980, H41 tranny, T-case from 3 speed, shackle reversal with 2in springs, 4 in springs in rear, 4.11 gears welded rear, ARB front, weber carb, brand new Bestop Supertop still in box, Warn 8274, dual exide orbital batteries, Weber carb, 36in TSLs with 80-90% tread, electric fan, rear disc brakes, power steering, it is in Starr/Anderson area.

The Aisin hubs will stay with me, you will get Warns. Also you will get the older style control box on the 8274. The back corners show the bad rust spots. The driver floor has a couple small holes, nothing major, floor is solid. Also the rear floor has a few small holes. The pass side next to the seat has a few small holes, still structurally solid. The frame is good, no rust problems. The pass side is dented some as seen in the pics. It has saginaw power steering with heavy duty tierod and draglink. Turns the 36s effortlessly. No hard top or hard doors, will include the red early door I have for an extra $100. NIB Supertop. Honda Prelude seats. Stainless battery tray. Probably some other stuff.
I like it, but would sell it and keep the 84 PU for wheeling.

i have seen that one, he has had it for sale for over a year. he wants 5,000. he told me that when he sells it he will be moving to guam. the cruiser has some starting and idling issues, thanks for looking out, jason
