Hey guys,

I'm looking for interior trim piece: 55549-60030-A0 (Ivory)

It's the piece that goes above the cup holder on the rear console on a 2000 LX470 with ivory interior.

A lot of places sell it online, but after I ordered it, I was sent: 55549-60030-B2 (Gray)

I was told that the ivory piece was replaced by the gray piece.

I really don't want to have a gray cover on an ivory interior.

Please let me know if you know of a place where I can get one, or if anyone has an extra.

Thanks!

I believe that you're referring to the small knock out that would contain the heater controls for LC/LX that didn't have factory rear air.
It's 4.5" wide and 3" tall.

Have you considered taking the gray piece and spray painting it? Duplicolor makes good color match paints that adhere well on plastics. Ive used their spray paints in several interior plastic pieces and you'd be hard pressed to tell.

Only other option would be locating one in a wrecking yard...

Exactly :)

Do you know what color would match the ivory color?

Not sure about the beige interior, my LC has the tan interior. Here are the available colors.
Vinyl & Fabric Coating - Aerosol | Dupli-Color

The pieces i re-finished were the speaker grills. Stripped off the fabric, it looked like crap from 15yrs of being kicked. used paint code HVP118 to paint the plastic grill frame. They came out great, have been kicked multiple times and still not a mark on them.

What's your intior code on the door?

Mine is LF40.

Took the covers off of my speakers as well...

My interior color code is LA40 tan/oak. The paint code i referenced previously best matched the TAN pieces.

What did you re-finish your speaker grills with after removing the covers?

I just left them as is, doesn't bother me.

How did you pant yours? Did you take the door trim off?

I removed the door card from the door, then removed the speaker grill from there.

So the color isn’t a perfect match for the door vinyl, but is pretty close in hue to the lower dashboard trim and other hard plastics.

Looks nice!

Still bigger things for me to deal with before the speakers. Just got new tires in today. Need to get the rear suspension switched out to traditional (parts in the mail / front already done) and get the head unit switched out. The gaping hole in the rear console does both me though >:0

LOL!

Was actually looking for the newer audio control blank to put in there...

Did you use Dupli-color Desert Sand High for your interior?

You're should pretty much be the sand interior color as my ivory / beige interior?

Or is it the medium beige?
