Looking for an 80

Hello,

I don't currently own a Cruiser for myself, but I am looking to get hooked. My family is hooked, and I want to keep the tradition alive! I am interested in finding an 80 and was wondering if there were any tips out there on what to look for. My family currently has a 40, so the 80 thing is new to me. Anything from miles to price and all of the options in the middle would be helpful. I want to eventually turn the vehicle into a strictly trail vehicle, but it will be used as a daily driver in the summer and possibly in the winter down the road. It will need to be driven on the roads for some time before it gets the full treatment. I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota, so if anyone knows of trucks in the area, I am up for suggestions!

Welcome to Mud!

Look for a rig with factory lockers if you intend to wheel it. Also, try and find one that has been maintained and loved moreso than worrying about the miles.

I've got one in Milwaukee that is a nice rig. It isn't a full locker, but it is a decent rig and the front axle rebuild has been done. 220K miles but very clean and runs very nice. I was going to put it up for sale in the spring. I'd like to see it go to a cruiser home. PM me if you have further interest.
