I posted over in the SoCal page as well, but I'm from Tucson so I can make a trip over if someone has the goods.

"I'm trying to source an older tube ladder style dual swing out Slee rear bumper for an 80. You know you want to upgrade to their new design and sell your old one. Let me know if you have one or any leads."

Hmmm I had not seen these. I was trying to avoid cutting the frame, but this one has me eyeing the cutoff disk. How do they hold up to rocks and trails like what’s around Florence, etc? Do the side wings tie back to the frame rails? I want something that can take some beating in the rocks and this looks like it has some good clearance if it can take a beating. Any pics of one with a ladder?

Yes it ties back to the frame and i don’t mean with brackets. Built to rock crawler! You are welcome to come over the shop anytime and see it in person.

Pics of the ladder are on the way! We custom build so if there is a look you want we can do it.

I have been looking at rear bumpers for a while. I really like the 4x4labs rear and the AvidOffRoad bumper. I am probably going to go with the Avid bumper myself. There are a few things I like about the AVID bumper plus they are local to me, AZ.

Ken,
How long on average would it take to get a dual swing built? And is it similar to 4x4labs frame cut and bolt up?

Under two weeks to build we have 10 going right now so maybe a little quicker. Yes cut the cross member 👍
