I am looking for a wiring connector from a 78/79 FJ55. The connector I need is for the heater blower assembly. It is a 4 spade female connector from the harness side, the male side is on the heater itself. This connector may have been used on other years, but am not sure.

Thanks
Scott

a ton of those on old toy sedans and trucks out there at a salvage. Also, I think Troll has a link to a connector site somewhere here.

I most likely have one but too many too do's including one or two here so, I can't get to it.

Yea, havn't made it to my local scrap yard yet, so I will still be looking that direction. I really just need to pull the trigger on the Vingageconnectors, but I have been using the few random harnesses I have laying around for connectors, but I just don't have the one that fits the connector for that heater. Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

While the vintage connectors are great they are not exact fits for the OEM connectors. You might have better luck at a pick an pull then deconstruct the connector and reuse it.

Sounds good, I will give that a try, I just wish I had a place around here with older cars, it seems like they send stuff to the wrecker pretty fast. I may end up just changing both sides of the connector, I will just have to see.

Thanks
Scott

I may have said connector from a 76 pig, if you think it's the same.

Thanks, I'm not sure if they are the same, let me post up a pic.

Thanks
Scott

Sorry for the delay, here is a picture.

Thanks

Looks fairly close but not the same as the one on my 76...a little more square and the 76 doesn't have the side latchy things.

Thanks for checking, it was a good try. I will have to hit the salvage yard to see what I can find.

Thanks agian
