I believe in another thread some one said it is actually an FJC key shell. But, when I ordered it from Beno I just asked him for a key shell and this is what he sent. It is actually three parts. The two shown above and then the little screw. It doesnt come as a package.

Well, what-da-ya-know... My local Lexus dealer came through.
On Tuesday I thought I would give it one more try and go to the dealer in Kingston ON.
I met with a service manager and she was willing to help. I had to hear a small lecture about the fact that the vehicle was US and that it might be difficult, but not impossible. Si I handed over my license and regisration and she sent some emails.
And today she called me back saying that my key was ready (with a stiff bill) and I could pick it up.
So I drove over and got my key. It wasn't programmed yet but they offered it to do it (free of charge). So now I have 2 master keys. (and a nice Lexus Key chain as a bonus)
One less item on my todo list.
