I’m new here. 94 80 LC With a check engine light on. I’m trying to find someone in the Saint Paul area who still has an Obd 1 reader. I’ve read about the paperclip method, but I’m not comfortable doing that. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What?? Why not?

Obd1 scan tool = paper clip

Even the factory manual suggests short pin from E1 to TE1 in the diag port to count the flashes of the CEL. A paperclip works just fine- no need to be uncomfortable.
