Looking for a set of 2H +1mm pistons - any recommendations (1 Viewer)

We are in the process of rebuilding a 2H engine from a bit of a mongrel 40 series that came out of Africa and understood our supplier (largest after market supplier in Aus) could supply +1mm oversized pistons so we had the block bored out to +1mm whilst waiting for the parts to arrive.

It now turns out that their stock levels were wrong and none are available.

Had anyone on here encountered an alternative supplier?

As far as I know in Oz, the two main suppliers for 2h parts are engines australia and sms diesel. Noordeman might have them too, who are big on ceramic coating the piston heads.

Ever tried looking up alfin themselves? I haven't.

Either way it will take some time. Crazy really, enough Japanese cars imported to Oz to create it's own local micro market (usually made in china now a day), then shipped globally. They did use to cast aftermarket 2h heads in Oz...

I have been brazenly ripped off from alibaba, flat out thieves never reply. The same stuff and same place that the guys above import from China. Difference is they buy in bulk, so are respected.

I had been told Terrain Tamer could supply, but they no longer had stock. I'll look up those other people otherwise we are going to have to line the cylinders
