Well, this year for Christmas Santa decided to replace the wheels and tires on my 40 to get me one step closer to being able to take it out wheelin'. Right now I have 2.5 inches of lift, but am running a 13.5" tire, not exactly going to articulate very well on the trail.

I pretty much have my heart set on the BF Goodrich MT KM2, but was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for a wheel that would look good. I've already looked into the OEM steel wheel, which I may end up with, but want to check some other options. What are some of you guys running?

OEM steelies and KM2s in 33x10.50 would be my choice.

ditto,

That is what I was going to put on my FJ62 with about that much lift. The KM2 looks like a good tire and that is a good combo. Not to wide, good road charactistics and wear and not to tall for the gears.

i am running white american racing wagon wheels right now but I have 5 fj60 wheels being blasted and painted white for the orig look from the later model 40's. I have 33x10.50s on them and I like them alot.

They are still available from toyota I believe, I would bet you have to order them seperate from the wheels though.

Correct. Still available but have to order seperate. They were like ~$15 per when I priced them a few months ago. Be sure to order the correct wheels for your brake setup. The steelies are different for drum versus disk.

I'm sure you could find them on mud for about half the price of ones from a dealer
