The 70 I bought from Justin has some typical cancer issues but not all that bad considering its almost 25 years old. It looks like it was totally restored once which probably saved it in the end. The body work is straight so it was done by some one with some skills. Years later the rust has crept back and needs to be dealt with. Its in need of another make over which I plan on doing this winter. I have most of the panels I need with the tub I bought from Sheldon and the rocker panels I'm picking up. I need a decent Mig welder to cut out the cancer and weld in the new panels. I'm looking for a 220 machine with a bottle. I may do some body armor after so I'd like to have the capability to weld up to 1/4 plate. Does anyone know of a place to get re built or good used welders? Craigs list hasn't been all that fruitful lately.

Any suggestions?

Mat had his old one for sale for some time. Not sure if he sold it yet or not. Sometimes KMS gets used equiptment in. I am sure Craigslist will pick up after people get back from summer vacation.

I have a Hobart 150 you can borrow if you need one right away. Its got flux core wire on it. I don't have a bottle yet ($$$) and the plastic gas fitting for the hose is broke.

Don't need one right away but thanks for the offer. I'll keep looking. Just got back from KMS and for what I'm looking for is about 1400 new with the bottle and mask. I'll see what comes up in the next month or so.

Thanks

Found one. Picked up a LINCOLN 180 HD PACK. So far I've managed to stick a couple of things together and my welds are looking less and less like bird s***. A few months of practice and I'll tackle the 70.
