Sorry I still haven't made it to a meet n greet, have been out of town for each one, will make it one of these days. Anyways, over the winter/fall i'm planning on pulling the doors and top off and apart on my FJ-40 and getting a full paintjob. All the weatherstripping is original and in need of replacement. Anybody have recommendations on a good paint/body guy in the VaBeach area? The FJ-40 is rust-free, very minor body work required, just fill a couple holes. Appreciate any inputs.

DavidAW, do you live by the courthouse? Think I saw your ride at the Harris Teeter Sunday afternoon?

I use a guy that is in Carrolton, Isle Of Wight. My father in law has been using him for a long time, and I just recently had our Bronco done to put for sale. They do everything, and are spectacular at everything. He is a PERFECTIONIST and will not give it back, if he wouldn't drive it himself.

Knox Automotive - the owner and contact is Bruce. I don't have there number, but they are listed everywhere.

Hope this helps,

-Josh

My only advice is to stay away from the Maaco on Bonney road, just off Va Beach Blvd. They scammed me and a work friend of mine.

How are his prices? I know cheap and good never go together, especially with car stuff. Just wondering myself as I want to get the Camaro painted probably after the winter.

I wouldn't call them cheap, but they are not good, they are perfect. You will not be disappointed. Get a quote, I do not want to tell you what we paid for the Bronco, because it will scare you. But that is because of the body work, and welding we had done ....
