Kinda like the title says, Ive lived down here in Jacksonville for almost 3 years now, and have yet to find a reasonable, reputable, and knowledgeable off road fab place down here. Or anyone with any experience on Toyota's for that matter. When i lived in Central NC i was spoiled from being down the road from East Coast Gear, and having places like MarsFab only a short ride away. Long story even longer, i had some folks vouch for a guy down here to do a fairly simple Trail gear Classic front lift install. Well here i am a month and a half later, and its still not done, and when i went to check on it the front springs were on backwards........ Anyone have any idea on where to take my rig to have it looked over and corrected if need be in the eastern NC are ie New Bern to Wilmington that wont BS me or force me to take out a mortgage to get it right? Any help is appreciated.

You are welcome to bring your rig to my shop but I am on the other side of the state, just north of Spartanburg.

Contact Darin at Cannucks Cruisers... He is not that far from you.

Good year, last of the solid front axle, first of the fuel injected 22RE

Lol, yeah i got him to do that, but after that debacle along with him not knowing what the steering box mount looked like it leaves me wary of everything else if you know what im saying.

Instead of shipping your truck out to have the work done, you could always host a HAMOM!!

Basically you provide beer and food and a bunch of knuckleheads show up to consume said libations and a few of them will turn wrenches too. Generally lies are told and a good time is had by all.

Or if your Canadian it seems it may be interpreted help a member of the north?

Or perhaps Darin is requesting hamon the grill at your HAMOM :D

Ill see if I can't find the name of this place I've passed a few times leaving new bern. Always lots of lifted toyotas, big blue metal building. It's been years but ill see if I can recall.

That sounds like such a awesome thing. No other group ive been has had anything like that. But as amazing as a idea as that is, i feel that i still need to earn or give more in before i could really do something like that, also since moving down to jacksonville I no longer have a nice garage or the proper tools to really take care of the possible problems with my rig. But on the other hand, Im always down to help anyone turn a wrench, pick something up, or hold the light where the works being done lol. The generosity of this crew is pretty damn awesome, unlike so many of the other clubs ive been with.

Depending what all you need done, a HAMOM can be hosted at another club member's house with supplies being provided by the person receiving the work. Does that make sense?

For example, when we did my 4BT swap, Ramon offered his house / garage to me and we hosted the HAMOM at his place. I provided beer, food and work, Ramon provided the house, garage and majority of tools.

A couple of pics from past HAMOMs. This club truly is amazing:

Ahh i understand now. Well depending on the state of the rig when i get it back this would be a great idea, and would be more than happy to provide beverages, food, and anything else anyone could use(ie im in the gun industry so anything anyone needs id be more than happy to donate some fun stuff).

And getting your moobies grabbed according to that picture
