hidy yall .....my fj62 has been having its beeing on the rag kinda moments. been noticing all this week that my 4wd engadges on the city streets. mostly during turns, and obvoiusly it wont disengadge unless i swap vac hoses and pop the button. so i reckon its time to swap out the solenoid. however i can afford nor would i think about forking over $400 bucks just for that damn doohicke. have been readling about using 92 cilica/ or a 22re AC solinoids in its place .with just a lil shaving of some plastic ...and whammmo it should work. just wondering if any one knows of a good source for those solinoids in town, or should i just go fight with the dealer for one. i eventual;ly plan to either upgrade the vac system to something much more reliabale in the long run or even eventually change out the transfer case fro a manual. but for the mean time i need something to work. any info would be greatly helpful guys
