Hello all!

Apologies for the super long post, but if anyone has any insight it would be awesome!

So there's a lot of things I want to start checking off the list on my 81 FJ60, and I'm starting to order parts… some things are pretty easy to find but other parts are a pain.

Radiator hoses: I plan on replacing the radiator, and these are pretty easy to find… but the hoses I can’t seem to track down. Anyone have any insight on where to get the replacement hoses?

Blower Motor: The blower motor seems to be toast, and there looks to be a lot of damage/shoddy patch jobs on the wiring. I found the blower motor and relay through Autozone. Has anyone ever used these parts and do they actually fit and work? Also does anyone have any idea where to find the pigtails for the blower motor? I’m keen to really replace all that crap work down there and get this thing back up and cooling again before the Texas summer hits.

Thanks everyone in advance, and sorry about the large amount of random questions… cheers!

A popular method to deal with the cabin fan is to buy the aftermarket motor at RockAuto.com and change the plug in the cabin to fit it. Easy. Also while you're there, get the aftermarket blower resistor (the most expensive of the choices). These often burn up after 30 years and that could be part of the problem. It's located in the air duct above the gas pedal. 2 screws. No info about the relay, but any 20 amp relay can be McGyvered to work.

All the cooling hoses (almost) are still available from Toyota.
