I test drove it this past sunday. couple things that he didn't state in the ad but overall very clean rig and probably not too far off on what it's worth.

40....get the boy a 40. Won't hurt when he hits curbs, no a/c so friends won't bum rides, standard transmission so no texting while driving and it has a roll bar...that's the logic I'm using....

I ended up finding a clean Volvo XC70. Clean, well cared for and priced right. And momma likes all the safety stuff on it.

too bad it's not an auto. If anyone knows of a 2002 4runner 4x4 let me know. They are harder to find than I thought.

Chad a buddy of mine will have a 2002 sport for sale pretty soon. It is the bright blue purple color. Send me a text at 940-631-95zero5 and I'll get the contact info. He got it in a trade deal for a house he's buying that the man who drove it died and the wife is selling everything. Has some bumps and bruises but not too bad. If my leg wasn't broken right now I would be buying it to flip.

Old and fragile. Stepped off the back of the Dodge while hauling cabinets and broke one bone in the ankle and chunked a piece off with the ligaments on the other one. Ive since taken up professional drinking as a side job. Easier on the body.

Had to settle for this 2wd. It was way too clean to pass up. I will keep looking for the 02 4x4, and sell this when I find one. It's an 01 with 119k on it. I bought it at a lot after a trade in. We find out the next day, that we know the owner. He brought over everything that was missing including the cargo cover, extra keys, etc.
