I'm in Portland, OR and am looking for a set of 55 seats for my neighbor who just landed a "free" pig, which comes with what you expect for free... Not much. It's running and driving which is a better start than was imagined but a place to sit would be cool. There's a backyard style bracket welded in to accept some "other" variety of seating, which could stay or could go, depending on what we can find to horn in there. Found some late 60's era Mercedes seats, and some VW seats of a similar vintage in a local yard today... Definitely after basic, black, vinyl. Lowbacked. No supra/honda whathave you. So if anyone has had success with other variants from stock, shoot a suggestion or better, an address or e-mail for free/cheap stuff. Benchseat would be sweet, Orig. Toyota Seats would be super sweet. Thanks

I have both front buckets and rear bench for a 78. I am in Albany. PM me if interested in talking.

Have a front which will ultimately need recovering for free in NM. Also, I have some front mounts but have not decided on what I am doing with them for sure yet.

I have a damn near perfect original rear bench seat, a front bench that needs much loving, and also have all necessary seat brackets for the above. Stuff is in Portland. PM me to discuss.

Seats

Hey, thanks for all the response! We got the pig all powerwashed out and spritzed down w. WD40 (poor-man's detail job!) Found a set of sweet old white steel 6 luggers and scored big on some used tires. $8 a wheel, $10 a tire! Mounted and balanced for free!

I will get some feedback on seat budget from my neighbor but I suspect local stuff (150 mi or so from Portland is best) We may find we're waiting on something to turn up rather than scouring the country for something right NOW... I kinda disapprove of the Ford Tempo seats that went in yesterday when I wasn't paying attention. But I must say, they're better than a hole in the floor. And, the truck can be driven now!

Still holding out for Toyota stuff!

I'm headed to Austin to visit my GF for the first time in 4 months! So I'm excited about that and will be gone till monday. But I'll be sure to post some pics when I get back.

--Also the WD40 makes a great air freshener! I dont know WHAT the F that pig had wallowed in, but it was rank.;p

55 drives... doesn't stop

Well... Kinda driven. Driven INTO things maybe!:frown: The brakes are a little squirrely. I picked up a master cylinder and replaced a leaky line / junction but still spongey. Wheel cyls soon!

if ur still in portland i have a set of seats sitting in my shelter, pretty good condition but not perfect. PM me if youre interested
