Does anyone have a decent 4 speed tranny and transfer that doesn't leak or howl that they want to get rid off? Just drained the oil on my drivetrain and found metal in both. Don't know how long they will hold up, so I thought I better start looking.

Thanks
Jeremy

I just did some reading on this setup, and I think I need it to be an April 85' or earlier 60 drivetrain to work. I don't believe you can remove the spacer between the cases unless you change the output shaft on the tranny. Which is not going to happen. Thus my drivetrain will grow by about 4". Not some thing I can deal with right now. Cut up hump, that I just cut perfect for my setup, plus driveshaft mods, that I just bought new from High Angle. If you know of a way to make this work, let me know.

If the other ones don't work out... I have a 77 4 spd tranny in Columbia. PM me if interested.

Got a good tranny today, waiting on a case from Jonathan next month. Thanks FJ40-40 for the drivetrain parts. It was nice meeting you, and I can't wait to see your truck on the road.
