Looking at LX470- anyone help out with a carfax?

Cant help you there, but start by googling the VIN if you haven't already done so. Sometimes you can get some info that way. Then go to toyota.com, owners section, and add the VIN. Then you can look up its dealer service history.
 
edit, in this case, go to lexus.com for dealer service history
 
Toyotadotcom, go to the owners section, select join and put in your info and the vin, at the very least you'll get the dealer history...that's pretty big...i've been told by toyota 800# csr's that if it's serviced at toyota, it goes in the history automatically.
 
So ran a carfax- the last reported info was from 2006 and 40,000 miles. How big of a red flag is this if the is nothing reported for 8 years?
