currently driving a 95 LC which I'm keeping for a work vehicle and looking into a newer(ish) LC for daily driver family hauler. A 2003 and a 2004 are available locally and look pretty good. Then I read threads of Nav issues and now I'm not sure. Would this you you away from an otherwise solid truck?

Bought 04 year go. Updated maps to 2016v disc but never used it. Phone does the job nowadays.

I don't care about the Nav, I just heard the whole system is problematic and it affects climate control and sound system. THIS would bother me.

I've commented on a recent thread trying to help a new owner work out Nav/HVAC issues.

That said, I have an '04 LC and it's been smooth sailing -- minus a few minor issues related to deferred maintenance by first owner.

2003-4 models are some of the best LC years IMO; they get the newer, 5 speed trans, but keep the simpler coil suspension that was later replaced by the hydraulic AHC system (in 2006 I believe; LX470 got it from day one).

Can't wait to see it!
