p.s. why would the 60/62 axles be different?(they are the same..other than the autos came with 4:11's and the 60's came with 3:70's)

62 front axles have that extra gusset that all the cool guys want, and the rear FJ62 axles have the sway bar mounts welded on.
Brian-Are you talking FJ62 driveshafts or inner axle shafts? The inner axle shafts are exactly the same as FJ60.
FJ62 driveshafts are unique as Dave said.
A rear driveshaft is a good spare to carry!
You can carry the front inners, but only 1 birfield. I've broken a rear axle shaft-definitely a good spare to have.
Understand, that there are great aftermarket parts available that are much stronger than stock.
