Yippy skip! Those are hot!

I really like the green FJ45 LX and the tan BJ42 with the 3B diesel and manual tranny (it says its a 1984 but also says its a 1985 and I think it says its a 5-speed manual tranny) - odd.

Anyone ever import one of these puppies from Japan?

Am I doing the conversion wrong or reading the price wrong? It looks like the green 1983 FJ40/FJ45 LX is 240,000 yen or roughly $2,000 US?

I'd go get it for that price (and a few of the others)!

I would guess that it would cost more than the $2K to ship a rig over to the Continental U.S. Thats not to say that you couldnt still make some $$ over here. Interesting site, too bad I cant read Japanese.

You missed a zero - it is listed as 2,400,000 - $19.5K. Nothing is cheap in Japan, especialy autos.
(so much for shipping).

I just noticed that I missed a zero  (but Go4aryd got to it before me). As noted, the price is estimated at 2,400,000 yen or about $20k US for the green FJ40

For anyone interested, the prices are just an estimate (b/c the cruisers are not even in Japan right now and the price includes shipping to Japan - so maybe best to find out where they are located in case it would be cheaper to just send them to the US).

The tan BJ42 is sold.

The green 1983 FJ40 LX has the 2F engine and LX package which it says includes 3 wipers, sliding side windows, forward facing rear seat. Always garaged, non-smoking vehicle (the vehicle doesn't smoke or the previous owner?). Can't display the next kanji, but l'm guessing 'no dents or rust' and the pawa suite I think is power stereo. It has ARB air 'deforokku' which should be diff locks, reclining driver's seat, towbar, and some other stuff I can't make out.

Still, for $20 large, go see CCOT or buy a previously restored cruiser from TLC.

Neat stuff though.
