Hi guys someone is selling Longfield 27 spline CVs to fit a FJ62, would these fit a BJ71?

When i got mine i had to order 40series ones just wandering if all the 27spline landcruiser CVs are all the same.

Why can't we?

Just order it in, pay that price, the exchange rate, shipping, GST, any duties or taxes, etc.

As soon as you mention shipping to australia they tend to say we have an australian distributer speak to them.

I ordered mine direct for longfield easy to deal with and great service I got stung with gst and import costs as my order when over the $1000 threshold as I got a 30 spline super set and hub gears they need to be ordered separate to not go over it.

Have you had this experience with Longfields, or are you just talking generally?

From my very few enquiries, and reading of other peoples experiences, I do not think this applies to Longfields, they seem to not mind dealing directly with customers in Australia.

Hi All:

I live within 100 KM of the Longfield shop, and would be happy to help out any of you folks not in North America source these parts.

So, for example, if any of you guys downunder wanted organize a group buy of Longfield bits I would be willing to pick-up the parts and ship 'em to you folks.

Regards,

Alan

Yeah i am just talking generally. When i had a nissan all the good gear was in the US and was much much cheaper than resellers over here. When i went to inquire about getting stuff shipped it was out of the question as they had australian distributers.

But its good to know some companies are different:)

Also josie very generous offer but i already have my longfields :D

Really?

I didn't get stung when I ordered mine, are you sure they didn't take the shipping into consideration too? I purchased mine earlier in the year when the dollar was nowhere near as good as it is now, and it fell under the $1000 threshold by $24, minus shipping. Paid $1220 or there abouts landed for the 30 spline super set, hub gears and gearknob.
