g'day everyone.
it's been a long time since i posted on here and just thought i'd say g'day and give an update.
My beautiful LC100 was sold to a friend of mine for a bargain price, and he got a good deal, albeit he had to do (pay for) the 100K service and get the RWC (roadworthy certificate) for it to be registered in his name.
Got me out of a bind, but still i was sad to see it go, given the plans i had. Unemployment meant i also had to sell a few guitars too which was equally difficult.
He bought some alloys to replace the steelies, but he kept the steelies as they had the BFG mud terrains on.
He also removed the steel bash plates i had installed as he wasn't gonna be doing as much 4WDing as i did. More towing the caravan and boat. He had an 80 series before that and he loved the fact that my exhaust and my controversial stainless 4" snorkel (now seen everywhere) just meant he could effortlessly tow whatever without worrying about things i spoke about in previous posts when i was a regualr contributor here.
I now live in Auckland, New Zealand. I haven't done any 4wding yet, early days though but i am working - still in I.T. which is good and NZ is such a nice place.
Hopefully i'll update when and if i get another hundy and let the mods begin!
cheers
peter
