the strap belongs to Butch......Everyone needs to go to the Toyota website, under contact us/comments leave a glowing praise of the Trail Team...unless we tell Toyota how much they are appreciated, the $$$ may go to another stick and ball stadium..

marius/maurice

Well, I was just paying it forward. Randy Kruse and Gary Waggoner saved my butt, my rear bumper and and my sheetmetal last year on that waterfall, so it was my turn for you. You guys did a great job wheeling.

Thanks again.

I too would like to extend a big round of thanks to all those who helped make Roundup such a great event. I flew out to meet up with Chris King and the TTR folks for the first time, and was lucky enough to meet a few of y'all throughout the weekend. Kowboy, Butch, MetalTech Mark, and several others I'm surely forgetting... it was great meeting y'all. You guys know how to put on one hell of an event. Great folks, great food, killer band, and awesome wheeling made for a truly awesome weekend. Thanks for the memories.

For anyone who's interested, I have uploaded my pics from the weekend here: LSCR-2008 Pics

Enjoy! And again, thanks to all who were involved. :)

Rick

We had a super time, good to continue getting to know Chad, Nick, etc., hanging out at camp Friday helping sort swag (too cold for me on the trails that day).
We had a good group on Waterfall on Saturday, you guys were a hoot, real troopers and gained confidence as we continued, hope you made it through with no body damage (none that I recall).
Tried to hang late with the guitar pickers, but eventually the sleep/exhaustion monster hit me on the head. I have a DVD of some band footage, maybe I'll bring laptop to meeting Thursday.
Thanks again to you all for letting us hang out and play!

Here's an email I got and wanted to pass it on...

Hey Jason,
I guess I didn't meet you down at katemcy but you were right, I had a great time. I wished there was more than just one round up a year. Most importantly I figure out what I need to do to improve my fj-cruiser and light a fire under my butt to finish my 40. I didn't meet one person there that was an a-hole. a great bunch of people! and I am glad I joined.
Thanks,
Wil Allen

no truer words have been written

Wil was one of many service men who were in attendance and I wish I could have thanked them more but I know that Wil, Ben and Trevor were with Trevor awaiting orders as he was going back to Iraq sometime very soon.

Thank you to all those who have served or are currently serving this great county that we call home.

took a while

I had been stuck in Vegas for the past bit (curse or not?). Great offroading, but waited to get back to TX to join a Chapter. I went to events from NV to CA to UT with my FJ. I was born and raised in TX, so I know the people here can't be beat in terms of friendship and hospitality. This was the first sponsored event I went to since I have been back, and all I can say is I can't wait go out with you guys every chance I get.

Special thanks to the Trail Team as well. You guys were great in Moab, but must admit I had more fun with you all at Katemcy! Bias to location maybe! I love the advise and learning how much further I can push my truck at each outing. Granted with the advise (on this outing) comes the pain of a crushed slider and a bent lower control arm (and on a side note a broken Valentine 1 landed me a ticket for 95mph in Mcullah County on my way out...special thanks to the Judge who cut me a tremdous amount of slack), but I would have never found myself putting my truck in those positions without the advise. Would it be any fun without a little blood anyway? Of course not. Thanks to all for such a memorable weekend of fun....:wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench:

They gave us a chance to trade up there, I almost thought about mixing it up but after I saw what you won I was happy I didn't. Would have been pretty upset since I have a winch!! I won the jack!
