Logged out with every page (1 Viewer)

Help! I've been having a problem with using 'mud forum that has gone from occasional, to frequent to every single page view. It's now 100% of the time.

The symptom: After I log in, the page can be viewed and I see my user ID in the menu bar at the top of the page, indicating I'm logged-in. If I click on anything that navigates to a different page, it comes up with all the ads & no username in the menu. I can go to the upper corner and log-in again to view that page, but its a real PITA to do that everytime.

Machine is Toshiba laptop, Win7, Firefox. Not having this problem with any other forums that I visit. Cookies are not blocked, not running any super aggressive antivirus.

I don't see a setting in user control panel that would effect this.

I had the same problem and logged and checked the box belowto stay logged in...seemed to help

yes, check the stay logged in box

You might also clear your browser cache and clear IH8MUD related cookies...I have had rare issues on various sites with a "corrupt" cookie causing issues.

Browsers and virus/security software update regularly and occasionally un-set preferences as well.

Cleared everything, then checked the little 'stay logged in' box. Working great now!
