Figured I would post up this info since fall is around the corner although judging by the temperature outside today you would not guess fall is coming. This info came from the daily sun site. This is a real bummer because I use to go up there every fall to see the leafs change.

Fall leaf-peepers who make an annual pilgrimage to Lockett Meadow and the Inner Basin will be disappointed this year.
Coconino National Forest Officials have extended the closure to the public of those two areas and others affected by the Schultz Fire through the end of the year.
The closures had been set to expire today.
Other closed areas include Schultz Pass Road north of Schultz Tank, Lockett Meadow Road (FR 552), Waterline Road (FR 146), Elden Springs Road (FR 556), Little Bear Trail, Little Elden Trail, Deer Hill Trail, Inner Basin Trail, Lockett Meadow Campground and Little Elden Springs Horse Camp.
Remaining open, however, is the popular Weatherford trail, although Weatherford Canyon just east of the trail is inside the closure area. Sunset Trail also is open.
Also remaining closed is the Cinder Lakes Flood Area -- a southwestern corner of the Cinder Hills Off-Highway Vehicle Area and national forest land east of Fernwood subdivision.
Violation of these closures is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or imprisonment for up to 6 months, or both, according to Karen Malis-Clark, a spokeswoman for the Coconino National Forest.
