I'm getting new speakers and a USA Spec iPhone/Aux device integrator installed and I have a couple of questions (I have read many of the threads on this topic already too). My first questions relate to the USA Spec. The model I'm getting will have a dedicated input for the iPhone (which I'm using solely as an iPod, NOT for phone calls or nav apps, satellite apps, etc.). I will have this go into the glove box or the center console. It also has an input (either RCA or headphone type, I forget) that I can use for my actual phone (non-apple) or a satellite radio. I'm am wondering the best brand/type/location for the device I'll plug into this input. I've seen the proclips that go by the vents, but I don't want to block my vent. Does anyone have any thoughts on the proclips that go on the outside of the console? Will proclips hold devices other than iPhones? Does anyone know of any products that use or adapt to the ash tray??
Also, If the install is able to remove the CD changer (I don't know if I'll have to keep the changer), does anyone know of any parts/products that will let me use the space where the changer used to be?
Thanks in advance for suggestions!
