Hello everyone,
I am writting to see if I can get your help for my brother, who is stationed at Beale AFB, CA. He currently owns a 2007 Jeep (I know, I know couldn't get him to get a fj40) and is having problems with his shifter coming out of 1st gear. He took it to a Jeep dealership and they said that couldn't do anything to fix it.

So I wanted to see if someone knows of a shop near Beale that could take a look at the truck to see what is going on.

You can email me directly at arcame@comcast.net if you know of a place.

Thanks for your help.

Where is Beale??

You mean it pops out of gear when under load, as in the tranny? Not good.

Only because your brother is serving (and thank him by the way) will I avoid bashing his vehicle of choice. I can recommend Family Adventure Outfitters in the Vacaville/Suisun area... Neil is the owner and works on Jeeps too. He could give a good second opinion. Try a search for his number, do not have handy.

I think Beale is by Sacramento. It pops out of gear when he is driving, though it doesn't do it all the time and only does it when he is in 1st.
I understand the bashing, and I have done it before. But since he doesn't know much about working on trucks, it was better for him to get a new truck instead of a classic (fj40).

Thanks for the help.

Have him take it to Folsom Jeep Dealership an Old Crusier Owner works there now, tell him to ask
for Danny Warden, he will tell him straight what wrong, have him mention that an old Friend sent him,
Jim Adams,
