will load leveling shock comensate for the extra weight on my drivers side, due to the swing-a-way tire carrier i have?
this is also a consideration of mine, becasue with new springs, a 1-1/2" shacke lift, and new shocks, i still have the rear drivers sag, even without the tire carrier.
i drives me NUTS every time i pull up behind the truck.
i have heard that load leveling shocks might help, \

hammer

Yup yup. I used the Monroe shocks in the rear of my rig right after the crossmember was fixed. Worked like a charm.

Remember, this is only a temporary fix.

what makes it temporary?
i have new springs, shocks, shackles...theres nothing else

Load leveling shocks, air shocks or anything like that transfer load to the shock pins. Not a good idea. They aren't meant for this kind of load. They can and often do bend and break when subjected to this sort of loading.

Mark...

so im back to add-a-leafs?
if i put them in, it will just look the same anyway, right?
if it didnt drive me nuts, i wouldnt be bothering...but it does....
