Hello!

The suspension is completely shot in my LJ78 Prado '92 RHD and needs replacement. I've heard that OME is a good option for this model, but I don't want any lift, just shocks and springs. I've had trouble talking to dealers since it's an import vehicle and I'm getting conflicting information.

Does anyone know suspension kit options for the LJ78? Part numbers would be amazing?
How much do they cost?
I live in the Yukon so I'd be looking at getting parts shipped from BC or Alberta.

Thanks all!

I bought OME suspension from RADD Cruisers (on Vancouver Island BC). I bought the medium springs and nitrocharger shocks, which made for a small lift. If you wanted no lift you could look at the OME soft springs. Or, maybe just leave your factory Toyota springs as they are, and just replace the shocks? Worst case if you still need springs you could buy them after the fact.

Thanks GTSSportCoupe, RADD Cruisers is a good option, I've chatted to the guy there, and they'll ship north. They need part numbers though, does anyone have a OME "soft" kit with no lift so I know exactly what I'm getting?

Cheers.

Download this pdf catalog and look at page 90 (landcruiser II): http://www.arbusa.com/Uploads/PDF/onlineManualsGuides/OME_Guide_current.pdf

Looks like there is only medium and heavy suspension (sorry, thought they had a soft too...). I went with the medium and have been very happy. On road performance is excellent with excellent handling. A little stiff for wheeling perhaps, but not too bad. Excellent for towing and heavy loads. Truck never sags. Lift gave me about 2" in back and 1" in front. I put 1" spacers in the front to level the truck as I did not like the 'stink bug' look.
